Disney is a Different Cruise

Disney is on the move!!

From new cruise cruise ships to new resorts and new features at the parks, Disney is not quiet.  There is something about this company that just makes me smile.  Do you know they have a College of Disney Knowledge?  I am a graduate with my mortar board with ears.   But even with this education, I am constantly excited about the newest events that Disney comes up with.

Let’s talk about the newest cruise ship, Disney Dream.

She has 14 decks of fun for the whole family.  Yes, all the features for kids of all ages, but also adult only areas where you can recharge and reconnect with your spouse or partner.

Of course, Disney is entertainment.  With the most sophisticated venues on land or sea, guests can watch the latest movies, enjoy creations in the main show lounge as well as all the animations on the whole ship.

This ship will have the same rotation dining found on other Disney ships, but even more elaborate.  Changing dining rooms, keeping the same seating and taking your waiters with you is only found on Disney.  In addition there is a fine dining venue with an 8 course wine pairing dinner lasting 3 hours or Palo adult only restaurant serving Northern Italian fare.  Both of these have a charge, as well as reservations, but are 5*.

The pool and spa areas are unique.  Even teens have their own spa area.   Children and Youth facilities offer services for infants to 17 years in separate locations just for the ages.  The adult zone is complete with bars, lounges, discos and a dance floor.

1250 staterooms and suites with 901 verandahs as well as inside and oceanview catagories.  Most staterooms feature a split-bath featuring 2 small bathrooms.  Another “Disney only” feature on inside cabins is a magical porthold that provides guests real time viewing of the outside of the ship complete with Disney characters that pop up from time to time.

The Disney Dream will have 3,4, and 5 night sailings departing from Port Canaveral.  The Castaway Cay private island has been expanded to accommodate the larger ship.  It was fabulous before and now is even better with more dining venues, more cabanas and larger kids water area.

What can I say?  Cruise Disney!!  Age has nothing to do with a fun experience.  Call me to help with this wonderful vacation memory.  Cruise & Tour Planners
